Druze Youth Committee (DYC)
The Youth Committee of the Australian Druze Community organization looks after
the interests of the you nger generation of Druze. T his younger generation encompasses
and the teenage Druze (13-18 years old) and the more mature Druze (18 years and over).
The Druze Youth Committee (DYC) meets regularly on the first Monday of each month at
the ADC Hall in Guildford , NSW, at 6.30pm. All members are welcome.
The DYC coordinates events and functions as well as the newsletter and youth website
to promote its objectives, which are to:
• Bring the younger Druze generation closer to the community
• Help young Druze incorporate the diversity of Druze culture in Australian Society
• Encourage interaction of young druze with each other
• Provide an organisation that is the pride and stature of the wider Druze Community
• Enhance the functions of the ADC to better serve the Druze Community
The DYC is currently undergoing a recruitment drive for members. We are organizing
several events that cater for all young Druze. P lease come along and join us…
We would love to see you at any (preferably all!) our events. We do understand
however that many young jewels cannot make particular times or dates therefore
we are trying to cater for all outdoors brothers and sisters with different activities
please refer to the events page for an up-to-date listing of our events.
